El doctor Navarro, quien lleva al frente del hospital pocomás de un año
diezmeses ycuyagestióndurarácincoañosconposibilidadesdeque la

Francisco Navarro Reynoso también destacó que entre sus objetivos
está el fomentar proyectos de capacitación en todos los niveles del
hospital, en especial en el área médica, enfermería y trabajo social.
En ese sentido, subrayó que en el área administrativa algunos ya
cursan sus estudiosdemaestría ydoctoradoenadministración y en la
actualidadsecuentacon70egresados yesteañoegresaráotrogrupo
de 70personas del HGM.
También aseguró que el hospital cuenta con el doctorado en
administración y que es sede del Instituto Politécnico Nacional (IPN)
para la maestría en ciencias médicas. Y a partir de marzo de 2011
iniciarán la impartición de la maestría y doctorado en ciencias con la
UniversidadNacional Autónoma deMéxico (UNAM).

Dr. Reynolds, who has been the hospital’s general director just over a
year and tenmonths and whose management will last five years, with
the possibility that the governing boardmay re appoint him for another
term, noted that among his main achievements is the impulse he has
given to the Department of Quality and Safety inHealth Care project.
"The biggest challenge facing the hospital is providing the best quality
care, warmthandabove all a close relationship to the people, sowe can
offer themadignifiedattention, andalso continue towork inachieving
the goal of having very soon one or two beds maximum for each room
and keep up with this tendency as we move forward in the renovation
of the hospital.”

Francisco Navarro Reynoso also acknowledged that among his objec-
tives is to promote training projects at all levels, especially in the
medical, nursing and social work. In this regard, he stressed that in
the administrative area, some of its staff is already studying for their
master’s and doctorate in management and that currently the hospi-
tal has 70 graduates and this year another group of 70 individuals
will graduate.
Healso said that thehospital offers thedoctorate inadministrationand it
is theNational Polytechnic Institute (IPN) headquarters for themaster’s
degree inmedical sciences. FromMarch 2011, he added, the GHMwill
begin teaching for the science master's and Ph.D. together with the Uni-
versidadNacional Autonoma deMexico (UNAM).
